Zagreb, Croatia — Cinematic Alternative Rock

GOT

Wide open soundscapes. Dark energy. No dragons.

Scroll

GOT is a cinematic alternative rock band from Zagreb, Croatia. We build music the way a film builds tension — slowly, deliberately, until something breaks open.

Wide soundscapes. Dark energy. Music that takes its time and means every second of it.

Archive

Before the
internet
knew us

Somewhere in Zagreb, before streaming existed, GOT were already making television history. White Christmas hit number one on Hit Depo in 1997 and won the Oktavijan award for best music video at the Days of Croatian Film — directed by Nikola Ivanda and Tomislav Rukavina. The archive goes deeper still: Something Beautiful, a collaboration with director Mladen Dizdar, built around Luka's original score. And VHS footage from Kulušić that goes all the way back to 1993, when the cameras were terrible and nobody cared.

Then Luka went to Kuala Lumpur and became a film composer. GOT went on hold for twenty years. Some things are worth the wait.

The picture quality has not aged well. Everything else has.
